Thorbart Presents Poetry by Thorb

In the time of now south garden
we all think to be ourselves
then like all the ones before
for sure a thought
awakens new dreams of hope
nope south garden
or not like a rope dangling
off the limb of an old oak
fate finds fear in the heart
like rot or a fungus can start
if weakness prevails.

reach her soul
the goal of a new lover
discovering universes unknown before
adore those kisses
misses and grazings
hazings from days gone bye
why do you think of such odd things
stings like some unseen insect bite
trite to the moment of ingestion
suggestions power from some moment past
fast as the speed of light
right to the heart of your brain
raining down once again
strain and stress disappears inside now
Wow.

A New Beginning

Posted: 2/12/2006 3:21:20 AM

yesterdays are as others have said so many many times
gone like the idea of worms having a spine
Trees flying around the forest
or wolves taking the bus
ah but I know
if you go to Detroit
life will begin a new
no muss no fuss
times for others will take its toll
some so slow you won't see the goal
then there's the quick witted fool
trying to seduce with slippery word drool
a sheep in wolves clothing
watching the flock
dragging paws around the clock
hoping for dreams beyond reproach
wearing grandma's broach
on a cloak of many colours
not David's
not Joseph's
not anything you may have seen before
waiting just inside the door
calm
comfort
a warm meal and a bed
relax
rest your head
for tomorrow is a new day
even though tomorrow never comes
it shall be a new beginnging
and you shall be the one.
