Thorbart Presents Poetry by Thorb

In the time of now south garden
we all think to be ourselves
then like all the ones before
for sure a thought
awakens new dreams of hope
nope south garden
or not like a rope dangling
off the limb of an old oak
fate finds fear in the heart
like rot or a fungus can start
if weakness prevails.

was feeling so happy
engulfed by your eyes
now I feel crappy
with that sudden goodbye

Been waiting so long
to find the right kiss
now that you've gone
it sure will be missed

like some invisible puzzle
with random sized pieces
I couldn't really say how we fit

it felt so good to cuddle
without dream police
thinking that now was a hit

no pressure to do or be anything
as we talked on and on each day
you sure knew how to make my bell ring
even when there was nothing to say

I felt too much planning for the long haul
would spoil this time of near bliss
I guess that was right as you made the call
water and oil except when we kissed

like some invisible puzzle
with random sized pieces
I couldn't really say how we fit

it felt so good to cuddle
without dream police
thinking that now was a hit

we're betting the bank on nothing less
sub prime and greed,
bleed, then confess
the things we read about this mess
making me think
socking it away is best

you know this refers to using old socks
stashing your gold in a well hidden box
no point using keys and locks
in plain sight hidden is all the talk

if only honesty prevailed over greed
if we could reap satisfaction from seed
if time is money then where is my cash
with all the time in the world ... what a stash.
